Spotless- NAIDOC Week
Spotless- NAIDOC Week
Objective:
When NAIDOC week was approaching, we were asked by Spotless to develop some items that could be easily stored within their ‘tent’ and handed out during the outdoor events in Brisbane.
2019 NAIDOC week was the launch of the artwork from Acacia Collard commissioned to represent not only Australia’s move towards ‘connectivity’ but the key aim for Spotless in their work in all regions of Australia.
Solution:
In order to utilise the artworks full potential, we needed to find suitable items that could be branded with full colour process.
A Notebook and Flat water bottle were manageable items for the Spotless team in Brisbane, as they could be stored and received easily by recipients.
Full colour print has developed a 3D effect- so that each ‘dot’ element of the artwork could be raised giving both items an added sensory element.
Results:
After the products success during NAIDOC week, more bottles and notebooks were produced for the executive team, career and graduate days at universities, Spotless family day in each state and welcome packs for new staff.

SciencePlayKids- Fidget Spinners
SciencePlayKids- Fidget Spinners
Objective:
STEAM is now a key element of education in primary schools, so when a family member was looking for a childrens education pack we were introduced to Dr Loz, Science Play Kids.
Dr Loz was excited about building an education program around kinetic energy and centrifugal force.
Solution:
While working on other elements for the packaging we identified a huge price drop in fidget spinners as the fad waned. Through this we were saving items from landfill while also being able to inspire and educate scientists of the future.
The Fidget spinner became a key branding tool and gift with purchase for Dr Loz, as previously she didn’t have much branding of her education packs.
Results:
Many parents have enrolled their children in her programs held at her Firzroy site and have also bought her packs. Since COVID her pack sales have taken off and she has also developed a set of videos.

Characters from Fall Guy and Devolver were utilized on all wall surfaces and hung above the stand- making it easy to identify. Colourful T-shirts were developed, encouraging people to attend the stand and become ‘ambassadors’, and staff were given purple T-shirts to be easily identified. Yellow foam crowns were also produced, for people to wear around the event.

Pantera Press ReLaunch
Objective:
Pantera Press has a mission to spark imagination, conversation and change. They do this by investing in next generation writers, publishing books that matter and funding charities and not-for-profit programs working with the literacy gap.
Pantera press approached us to develop tangible items that would showcase their new logo and feature the recently released mission. Not only are they interested in publishing Australian writers but also in supporting them through their solitary writing times. Suitable items were thus needed to encourage and support current writers, while exciting potential new authors and welcome them to the Pantera Press family.
Solution:
Looking for a discreet finish so as not to emblazon their logo on the tangible items, we searched for suitable items that could achieve this look.
A notebook with a blind embossed front cover and dramatic front and back fly sheets was developed alongside Premier Collection. Keeping in mind eco requirements a glass coffee cup with an embossed silicone sleeve, was perfect to showcase the full Pantera press logo while being discreet.
The final product was a heavy weight book bag with the logo being displayed as it was planned to become part of a pack when Pantera press handed out their new books to distributors and retail shops.
Results:
While COVID has halted the products from being handed out in retail shops, there has been a great response from writers on social media showcasing and demonstrating the items they received, adding to Pantera Press’ strong alignment to ‘family’.

Polymers with Purpose- Trade Show
Finalist 2020 Awards- Event Merchandise
Objective:
Duromer were looking to exhibit at Manufacturing Week, with particular attention on their target audience of designers and inventors. Educating visitors about plastic being lighter, brighter, more malleable, eco friendly and lasting longer while dispelling stigmas associated with plastic.
One focus was the benefits of people using Australian manufacturing of plastics over other materials and from other countries. With this being a key aspect, Duromer knew people needed to experience the product via their senses of touch, feel, smell and hearing. From this understanding the manufacturing process was explained in 6 points.
Solution:
The united banner title for the stand “Polymers with Purpose” consolidated all the different aspects of the stand and the different people involved in each of the six steps being demonstrated live on the stand.
A cohesive stand was achieved through a 6 point list at each corner, each representative supplied with a branded fully sublimated polos and the Polymers with purpose logo was strung up on the trade stand with hexagons also being placed near relevant brochures.
Results:
It was a great success with over 800 enquiry forms handed out. Many projects from known contacts have been finalized and two key multi million dollar projects have resulted form new, previously unknown contacts.

CLIENT: Bayer & Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness
Seresto Value Sales Pack
Seresto Value Sales Pack
Winner 2019 Awards (Innovation & Design)
Introduction:
Bayer is a leading animal health company and generally leads the market for small and large animal health products. So when their leading flea & tick treatment wasn’t quite hitting all its goals, a solution needed to be found.
Research conducted with Veterinarians and retailers identified the key differentiators between Bayers’ Seresto and the competitors product. It showed that Seresto was recognised as the best product, delivering on its promise to rid cats & dogs of fleas and ticks for longer than their competitors. However the initial higher cost of Seresto often meant that the competitors product was chosen.
Objective:
Develop a tangible item that would be used by the Bayer sales team to highlight the value for money that Seresto offers over its competitors
Solution:
A ‘book’ with a calculator on one side and an efficient white board on the other was developed as the key sales tool for the team.
With a full printed outer there was no need for the sales team to handle their typical sales cards. The interaction with the piece was perfect for the team and the recipients.
The actual sales prices for the competitors product could be used in a ‘real time’ scenario and then wiped away – also limiting any disputes from competitors.
Results:
The results were overwhelming, in the 6 months after the launch there has been over 20% in sales, well above the required budgetary increase.
The value proposition has been easily reinforced by the sales team.
And at Bayer the sales and marketing team are discussing the virtues of the piece!

Rollable Injection Mat
Rollable Injection Mat
Finalist 2019 Awards (Distributor/Supplier Collaboration)
Objective:
To develop an injection mat, different from many previous versions, that could be rolled up easily and efficiently so that patients would be happy to use it and travel with it.
Solution:
There are many options for backing materials that can roll up, however not all can meld with a suitable, wipeable material.
We worked with rubber, typical mouse mat materials and even silicon. We put the word out to all our suppliers and one of our print suppliers in Melbourne came back with the perfect solution (call us and we’ll tell you about it).
The material can roll easily, we can attach a full colour printed sheet that can also carry an antibacterial finish – ensuring that all the items set out for use during the patients injection are as clean as possible.
And finally it can be rolled and put away ready for use next time.
Results:
As the client said “The materials were launched in March 2019, All the healthcare professionals who attended the meeting were extremely satisfied and excited about the materials. They felt confident in using the material with their patients suffering from this severe chronic disease” “It is perfect for the patients to use as home”.
