‘Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout’ is a wildly popular, family-friendly multiplayer game where players compete through chaotic obstacle courses until one final victor remains. To build buzz and reward engagement, PlayStation Australia wanted to amplify the game’s momentum through a campaign that stood out, both on-screen and in real life.
What better way to celebrate a champion than with a real-life crown?
Inspired by the in-game reward, Flourish brought this vision to life, designing and producing a limited-edition, handcrafted gold crown that perfectly mirrored the one from the game. Only two crowns were ever made, making this a truly rare and desirable prize.
Working closely with brilliant metal workers, we crafted the crown from a solid brass base with a gleaming gold outer finish, complete with a custom engraving. A sustainably sourced, recycled plastic stand was also developed to elevate the crown, literally and figuratively.
This was more than just merch; it was a moment.
One crown was awarded to the winner of the #PSPlusPlays Challenge for October, where players showcased their best Fall Guys moments to win an exclusive prize pack. The second crown was shipped to the creators in the UK and now proudly sits on Bethesda’s trophy wall.
The gold crown became a powerful piece of tangible marketing that generated buzz, excitement, and fan engagement across Australia and beyond. With its playful nod to the game and elevated execution, it stood out from anything else on offer—online or off.
Flourish also helped the game shine at PAX (Penny Arcade Expo), supplying colourful branded t-shirts, cut-out cardboard crowns for attendees, staff uniforms, and eye-catching signage—bringing the world of Fall Guys to life for expo-goers in the most joyful way possible.
