A New Age In Plastics
-
Client Name
Duromer
To target designers and engineers at the Manufacturers Week trade show, Duromer worked with a team of five other Australian companies. To entice and educate visitors to their stand on the “new age of plastics” – lighter, brighter and more malleable than traditional products. Highlight the environmental benefits of eco-friendly and local manufacturing processes.
A unique stand was developed using the relevant senses of touch, feel, smell and hearing. A 6-point process demonstrated a typical polymer project development from concept & material selection to injection moulding.
This cohesive stand was achieved through the 6-point list being clearly displayed at each corner, on the fully customised polo worn by each representative and floor stickers which ‘moved’ the visitors through the 6 steps.
Under the banner “Polymers with Purpose”, the different companies involved demonstrated their step live on the stand. Enquiry sheets were filled in by the representatives, noting all the areas of the project required by the client. A tear-off section was taken away as a reminder of the conversation and each lead was followed up after the show.
These unique enquiry forms were a great success. Over 800 forms were filled in on the day and resulting in many projects being taken to completion.
