Objective

The Wellbean Program is designed for patients living with a chronic kidney disease who need to inject themselves on a regular basis.

Solution

The Video incorporated a step by step process with upbeat music and simple visual cues. The front cover of the video mailer was designed to showcase a new, fresh, clinical feel.

Other items such as a small cooler bag, A5 booklet and a sharps container were included alongside the video mailer in a patient pack. Nurses distributed the patient packs, ensuring prescribed patients received them as required.

Results

With over 80% of patients in the program aged 65 and older, the video card proved to be an ideal solution, delivering clarity and reassurance through simple visual instruction. It empowered patients to manage their care with confidence, even between nursing visits.

The response was overwhelmingly positive, and we are already producing the next batch to support new patient enrolments into the program.
