Giving Kids The Power With An Interactive Story Book

Objective

To provide a pack to support children suffering from the painful disease, Cerebral Perfusion Pressure (CPP) and to educate them on the drug they were about to take in a child-friendly manner.

Solution

To encourage interaction with young patients, a gorgeous story and sound book, where each page had an accompanying sound and activity, was developed. This involved the children in the story of their condition and encouraged them to understand their treatment and the need to treat the condition and return to the hospital. An adventure book for a difficult time in their lives. The pack also included a cute owl-shaped cool pack to help after injections and a whiteboard for the fridge to help keep treatments on track.

Results

The children and their parents all enjoyed the pack! The doctors and nurses were also supporters as they could use it to help explain the product to the children whilst they were in hospital and it was a lovely gift for the children to take home.

An interactive adventure book that helps young patients.
