Art You Can Feel: Spotless NAIDOC Activation

Objective

When NAIDOC week was approaching, we were asked by Spotless to develop some items that could be easily stored within their ‘tent’ and handed out during the outdoor events in Brisbane.

NAIDOC week was the launch of the artwork from Acacia Collard, commissioned to represent not only Australia’s move towards ‘connectivity’ but the key aim for Spotless in their work in all regions of Australia.

Solution

In order to utilise the artworks’ full potential, we needed to find suitable items that could be branded with full colour process.

A Notebook and a Flat water bottle were manageable items for the Spotless team in Brisbane, as they could be stored and received easily by recipients.

Full colour print has developed a 3D effect, so that each ‘dot’ element of the artwork could be raised, giving both items an added sensory element.

Results

After the product’s success during NAIDOC week, more bottles and notebooks were produced for the executive team, career and graduate days at universities, Spotless family day in each state and welcome packs for new staff.
