Objective

For any major sporting event, it is the engagement and enthusiasm of the fans which help to create a vibrant atmosphere. Tennis finals in a Sydney summer require a method to help keep you cool, especially for overseas visitors. What better way to summon up patriotism for the final 8 than by highly visible, handheld fans for the country you are supporting?

Solution

As national flags often obscure the view of other spectators, smaller handheld fans were the perfect solution. With only a week between the confirmation of the final 8 countries and delivery, production moved fast. The small size, colourful fans were a great hit with the fans, with all of them being snapped up.

Results

Tennis NSW were thrilled with the colourful solution and the ensuing patriotism from the crowd, fostering support and friendly rivalry. The crowds were thankful for the practical help in keeping their cool at a top event!
