When Bayer was launching Elevit, their key objective was to educate nurses and primary healthcare professionals, especially those in IVF clinics, about their new pregnancy supplement and to let them know that they could order directly (which was not the usual process for products in this area).
The client originally asked for a mug that could be used by their team during morning tea meetings. We suggested a unique, tangible marketing item created specifically for them: The Pregnant Mug.
Over 1000 mugs were handed directly to IVF doctors and nurses across Australia. The Pregnant Mug was actively requested, widely retained and quickly became a talking point. Over 70% of IVF clinics in Australia now purchase Elevit directly, which helped the product reach the market faster and more effectively. Unsurprisingly, this strong response led to several repeat orders.
